It’s a small amount I know but growing it with my own two hands and effort gives me a sense of pride; not in. the numbers but that my commitment to consistency and improving myself has led to tangible improvements. Growth for what we can’t see is hard to know if it’s any growth at all. However, follower count on the other hand is something I can see and refer to as a proxy for determining if I’m improving at all.
If it’s going up, I must be doing something right. I’d like to think Chen’s suggestion to follow Gary Vee’s $1.80 strategy for social media works, even if I didn’t fully follow it; I understood the core of the strategy which is to interact consistently. That’s what I did and it seems to work.
Numbers aside, I’d like to say I’m really thankful to every single follower. I will work on something to reward my first 500, 800, 1000 followers with something exclusive. We will see.
