super ambitious concept. odd, intriguing format. definitely more about the ideas (exciting!) than narrative (less exciting). reading this in a book club made the experience 5x better, and is something i highly recommend. the huge breadth of topics and complex concepts - quantitative easing, geoengineering, ecoterrorism, etc - meant that i wouldn't have gotten nearly as much out of the book alone. also lots of good debate fodder!
