When I see the movies or read books, the hero protagonists often talk about these Moments. The Moment their life changes or when they start to see everything in a new light. The Moment when they confront their fears head-on. The Moment when they have a sit-down conversation they seem to be avoiding. The Eureka Moment of self-discovery.
Interestingly, because we see the moment visualized so clearly in books and movies that we think that we'll know what it looks like, or feels like. And for the longest time we think that when this clearly defined moment comes, we'll be ready. But, in real life, this moment is never as hyperbolic or defined. But rather a subtle collection of realisations, which kind of tell you that maybe THIS IS IT!
THIS is the moment you have been waiting for. No one is going to hand it to you on a plate, and you'll need to seize this opportunity as it comes. Instead of waiting for that one day when the trigger will come to change, all you need to do is RIGHT NOW so that you're ready for that day. The ‘when’ is now.
