these early days are precious.

i made the decision in December knowing that if i had chosen anything else, i would be missing these bright, unmissable days here.

there is something stunning in the way that the universe is sometimes kind enough to let you know that what you're experiencing right now will never look quite like this again; to let you be lucid and awake and self-aware enough to know that you should document and capture every single moment, knowing that it will never happen like this ever, ever, ever again.

someday, this will be something, out there in the world in a way that people will have opinions and make judgments about. we hope it will exist outside of us.

today, it's just ours—and it is once-in-a-lifetime.
