→ When you can't start - lower the standard.
→ When you feel as if you're dragging your unwilling self along - lower the standard.
The mantra for the next 100 days is to lower the standard. Lower it to the level where you can start with minimal anxiety and minimal pressure.
Slowly, day by day, you'll build up the capacity to do more. Without realising it, you'll work towards the ideal standard in your mind.
For the time being, let it go. Your ideals are doing more harm than good.

Coming to terms with the fact that I'm going to suck for a while, and that I do suck at some of the skills that are important to me, may become my salvation. Since the obsession with being good hasn't been useful, let's try this on for a change.
