While driving down a country road with a friend I haven't seen for years yesterday, we discovered that we had very similar taste in music.

Except what Google pulled up wasn't the track I expected.
Layered into the familiar dreamy synth progressions were lyrics: as light and ethereal as the original track.
I really can't describe what it's like to hear one of your favourite things in the world in a completely different light. A sudden recognition that there had always been something missing that you could never really put your finger on.
